01 / The person behind the care
Founder of Emora · Lactation Counselor · Somatic Doula · Mother
Hi, I’m Taliya, a mother of six, lactation counselor, somatic doula, and the heart behind Emora.
For nearly a decade, I’ve supported mothers through the beautiful, messy, and sometimes overwhelming journey of breastfeeding, NICU, pumping, combo feeding, postpartum, and early motherhood.
My own experience as a mother, including navigating high-risk pregnancy, birth, preemies, postpartum, breastfeeding, and the heartbreak of stillbirth, has profoundly shaped the way I care for other women. My daughter Ora’s name means light, and that light is woven into the heart of Emora.
I believe mothers deserve to feel seen, heard, supported, and cared for as whole women, not just given a list of instructions.
My approach is warm, compassionate, practical, and individualized. Whether you’re preparing to breastfeed, struggling with latch or supply, pumping, navigating a NICU or premature birth, or simply need someone in your corner, I’m here to meet you exactly where you are.
Motherhood was never meant to be done alone.
Welcome to Emora. I’m so glad you’re here. 🤍
Call Taliya02 / Care that honors your life
Birth support that understands the traditions and boundaries that matter to you.
As a Shomer Shabbat Jewish birth professional, I understand the unique needs and sensitivities that can arise for a frum woman throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
I am deeply familiar with the halachic considerations surrounding childbirth, Shabbat, Yom Tov, taharah, and the laws of niddah. I strive to create a birth experience that feels both spiritually aligned and emotionally supported.
For women and families who want a doula who understands the frum lifestyle from the inside, you can feel comfortable knowing that your religious values, modesty, Shabbat observance, and halachic boundaries will be respected throughout your care.
